If you are a senior looking for something new to do with people who remember the same Presidents and movie stars as you, Oklahoma City has some wonderful services in place.
The City of Oklahoma City has two great senior centers open for all area seniors age 55+. Classes are suited for all ages and activity levels and include:

- Athletic Games & Competitions
- Card Games
- History Discussions
- Language Learning
- Poetry and Creative Writing
- Sewing and Quilting
- Social and Leisure Gatherings
- Travel and Field Trips
- Yoga and Meditation
There are two Oklahoma City Senior Citizens Center Locations.
Will Rogers Senior Citizens Center
3501 Pat Murphy Drive (in Will Rogers Park)
HOURS: Monday - Friday 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
Woodson Senior Center
3401 S. May Avenue (in Woodson Park)
HOURS: Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
The City of Edmond has their own Senior Center with day trips, education events, activities and more. You can learn more here at their Facebook page.

The Midwest City Senior Center is also very active and closed only on major holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day).
They are located near the Midwest City Library.

The Metropolitan Library System of Oklahoma City hosts many programs for seniors at libraries all over the metro, including:
- Book Clubs
- Tai Chi
- Tech Talks
- Wellness Lectures
- Computer Classes
- Coffee, Conversation and Games
- Social Security Disability Information Classes
- ...and more
The easiest way to locate these on their calendar is to visit their event calendar online, and then click on the “age group” area and uncheck all boxes except for the senior box. This will show events that are only for seniors and filter out the many other events hosted by the library. Metro libraries include Del City, Choctaw, Harrah, Edmond, Jones, Luther, Midwest City, Nicoma Park and all of Oklahoma City.
